To obtain the other 2 starters, you would require online trade OR defeating both of following: Kanto Gyms & Kanto/Johto League; Kanto Trainer Championship. To battle Ash, you have to speak to him at his house, which he will then leave in a rush. Find him in Mt Moon, then Mt Silver and finally at Indigo Plateau, then meet him back in Pallet Town for the 2nd hardest fight in the whole game, with Lv 92-96 PokeMon: Espeon Lv92, Snorlax Lv93, Venusaur Lv94, Blastoise Lv94, Charizard Lv95, Pikachu Lv96. Name Origin: Since the Gen I games had colours for most things (Green/Red, Red/Blue and Yellow for game names) and towns/cities were also colours (eg Fuschia City, Lavender Town, Indigo Plateau), Pallet Town uses PALLET which is a word describing the thing that holds all the colours for whatever is coloured. |
